Auto Correct | General Auto Maintenance
General auto maintenance includes, oil and filter changes, rotation of tires, wheel alignment, suspension and exhaust services, engine tune ups, climate control repairs, and brake service. Routine maintenance services are often done on a 30-60-90 interval, meaning you should perform essential preventative maintenance about every 30,000 miles. Every vehicle is unique, and various parts can wear out at irregular intervals depending on your driving habits.
We’ll learn about it, and Coach Charlie Melton, ASE Certified Master Technician, takes your repair questions. Email the show: auto@mpbonline.org
Recalls: You can find out if your car has a past recall by going to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s website: https://www.nhtsa.gov/recalls and inputting your VIN. Or find their SaferCar app.
